this was taken back in ‘06 this little girl’s family was executed by insurgents, and she was going to be too. the shot didn’t kill her though. she was saved by the US military shortly after, and put into a clinic. this man heard her crying one day and decided to pick her up and comfort her. as you can see, the US’s presence in Iraq isn’t quite as bad as you think.
