i think its funny that feminists see men as highly judgmental, super controlling, and the cause of all of their daily inconveniences
like, men really don’t care about any of that shit. at all.
a bit more weight than a model? more to enjoy.
outfit? whatever you’ll feel best in.
hair? messy is attractive. curly is attractive. wavy is attractive. straight is attractive. anywhere in between is attractive.
skin tone? pale is just as sexy as tan, as long as you look clean. and if you are african american or hispanic or anything else, you have nothing to worry about either.
make up? doesn’t make a difference. i haven’t seen an attractive girl become any worse without make up. (promise.)
the one glaring exception to this is (generally speaking) body hair. pubic hair isn’t a huge deal, but long, noticeable leg hair or underarm can sometimes turn guys off. and even then, some guys really just don’t mind. i don’t.
but that’s literally the extent of our pickiness. apart from that, all you have to do is clean yourself like a normal human being and take basic care of your body like everyone else and we are fine. some guys have preferences, but rarely are they strict.
all of those things listed above are issues that other girls have put on you.
face it, when you’re putting on make up, doing your nails, overdressing for an occasion, spending excessive amounts of time on your hair, and/or burning yourself half to death out in the sun for color, you’re simply trying to impress or outdo other girls.
i’m not faulting anyone for doing it, i’m just saying that there is no point in blaming men alone for it.
hey quick question would you say the majority of fashion designers/makeup company ceos/advertising executives are men or women?
hint: it’s men
yes, they’re all hetero men that want nothing more than for women to wear make up/clothing so there isn’t an “ugly women epidemic” anymore.
and they don’t care about making money. at all. ever.
(it’s called capitalism. and insecure women who are constantly under pressure from other women to wear certain clothing or use beauty products are incredibly easy to capitalize off of. it’s terrible, yes. but it has nothing to do with what men like.)
